Part I. Digital Transformations: A dynamic encounter between music, art and AI in Sweden

12 MAR 2024
Växjö, Sweden

This event transformed the classical concert experience into an artistic exploration of digital technology and creativity across media boundaries.

Tchaikovsky’s Piano Trio in A-minor was performed by a chamber music trio from the UK, featuring Alexandra Huang-Kokina on piano, Rebekah Lesan on cello and Paul Docherty on violin.

Tchaikovsky’s chamber music was combined with AI-animated paintings, visualisations and the audience’s own stories. This created a dynamic interplay between the art forms, offering the audience an immersive and inclusive musical journey. The concert was followed by an audience discussion with pianist and digital humanities researcher Alexandra Huang-Kokina.
